The Logansport Tigers are still in the hunt for a state 1A championship. Their next challenge will come Saturday.
On Friday, Logansport’s boys defeated Merryville 4-2 to advance to the quarterfinals. Unlike other classes, 1A is single elimination all the way to the championship game.
Saturday at 3:00 pm the Tigers will field their best team on the Mike Carrier Memorial Complex in Oberlin, Louisiana facing another group of Tigers, the Oberlin High Tigers. A win by #4 Logansport over #12 Oberlin would send Logansport to the semifinal game in Sulphur on May 11th.
