The Chamber of Commerce had a downtown building donated to the organization. The Chamber currently meets at the Library and uses various locations as storage. The Chamber has long since wanted to have a place to be open to the public during events and conduct their business. The Chamber has taken possession of the building as of this week, but it will need some updating before any business can be conducted.
The old business discussed was the Eggs-Travaganza on the Riverfront this weekend. Volunteers were asked to meet to finish up the final details prior to Saturday. The games will start at 11:00 am but volunteers need to be at the riverfront no later than 10:00 am.
There was no new business to discuss. Tabitha Fletcher joined and announced that she will be putting in a salon for waxing and esthetic work at the old chamber office beside Tamara’s salon, Custom Cuts.
The last point of business was drawing for the door prize. Rusty Morris won a $25 gift certificate to Headrick’s Drug Store. Dr. Mike has added several types of gifts to the store. The next meeting will be 6:00 pm Tuesday, May 2nd at the Logansport library.
