North Desoto clinched the 4A District-1 Championship with a 64-29 win over Northwood. Landry Wyatt had a huge night, scoring four touchdowns and finished the game with 176 yards receiving. The Griffins finished the season ranked #1 in Division II (Non-Select) and earned a bye the first round. They will play the winner of the Lakeshore/Deridder contest in 2nd round.
Logansport secured the district 3-1A title in a 20-3 win against St. Mary’s and finished the season beating Montgomery 56-0. The Tigers end the season ranked #1 in Division IV (Non-Select) and are rewarded a first round bye. They will play the winner of the Franklin/Grand Lake matchup in the 2nd round.
Mansfield finished the season with a win over Red River 42-20. That’s the second consecutive year with a win over the Bulldogs. The #18 Wolverines travels to #15 Marksville High for the first round of the playoffs Friday, November 10 at 7:00pm. Admission is $10 at the gate.
