The Pelican Branch of the DeSoto Parish Library has announced the winners of their Big Buck Contest.  Charles Marr took home the top prize of $100 for the biggest buck in the adult division. Bryson Hesser and Eason Echols, came in at a tie in the youth division, both earned $50 for their entries. 

The DeSoto Parish Cattlemen’s Association Meeting will be held on February 13 at 6pm at the DeSoto Parish Extension Office in Grand Cane. Jeff Cole, CPA, will be the guest speaker discussing “Tax Savings”. RSVP by calling 318.875.0533 or email jsalley@agcenter.lsu.edu
