Sheriff Jayson Richardson and staff recently welcomed their newest Patrol Deputies to the DPSO Family.

Deputy Jacob Daigle and Deputy Zachary Moore both completed their training at the Shreveport Regional Training Academy, and began protecting and serving the citizens of DeSoto Parish Monday, August 4. Graduation was held on Friday, August 2, 2024. 

Daigle took home the Top Shot and Academic Award, while Moore took home the Overall Honor Graduate Award and Physical Fitness Award.

Deputy Moore was also chosen to be the class President and spoke at the graduation ceremony.
