North DeSoto secured the LHSAA Division II Non-Select Softball State Championship with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Brusly, adding yet another title to the school’s already impressive athletic legacy. The championship marks the eighth softball state title in program history, further cementing the Lady Griffins as one of Louisiana’s premier softball programs.

In a defensive battle that came down to execution, discipline, and composure, the Lady Griffins delivered when it mattered most, shutting out Brusly and protecting a narrow lead all the way to the final out.

School officials and community members praised the team’s accomplishment, noting that the championship reflects more than just talent on the field.

“This remarkable achievement reflects a legacy of excellence built on hard work, discipline, and a strong commitment to success,” DeSoto Parish Schools shared in a statement following the win.
