DeSoto Parish Schools seeking historic photos to preserve local history

The project aims to showcase the people, places, and moments that have played a role in the history of local education and the broader community.

School officials are encouraging residents to search through family photo albums, scrapbooks, and storage boxes for images that reflect life in DeSoto Parish schools through the decades.

Photos being sought include:

Classroom memories

School events and activities

Athletic teams and sporting events

Graduation ceremonies

Historic school buses

School campuses and buildings

Student organizations and clubs

Other memorable moments connected to DeSoto Parish Schools
