A Mansfield man is facing multiple felony drug charges following a lengthy narcotics investigation conducted by the Tri-Parish Drug Task Force.
According to the DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office, agents concluded an investigation on June 17, 2026, involving Eddrick Isiah Jones, 37, of Mansfield. The investigation resulted in felony arrest warrants for two counts of Distribution of Crack Cocaine.
Authorities said task force agents identified Jones at a residence on Model Road in Mansfield before executing both a search warrant and arrest warrant. The operation involved members of the DeSoto Parish Narcotics Division, Street Level Interdiction
Unit (S.L.I.U.), SWAT Team, and K-9 Unit.
During the execution of the warrant, SWAT team members located Jones inside the residence and took him into custody without incident.
Investigators reported seizing a large quantity of suspected crack cocaine, hundreds of Ecstasy pills, a small amount of marijuana, a substantial amount of U.S. currency, and three firearms during the search of the property.
Jones was transported to the DeSoto Parish Detention Center and booked on the following charges:
Two counts of Distribution of Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance (Crack Cocaine)
Two counts of Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance (Crack Cocaine and Ecstasy)
Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance
The DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office said the arrest marks the conclusion of a lengthy investigation into suspected narcotics activity in the Mansfield area.
Officials remind the public that an arrest is an indication that probable cause existed for the alleged offense. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The investigation remains part of ongoing efforts by the Tri-Parish Drug Task Force and DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office to combat illegal narcotics distribution throughout the parish.
