DeSoto Parish’s Cade Hanna, this year’s local Children’s Miracle Network Champion, will take part in Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, July 30, helping raise support for children receiving care through CHRISTUS Shreveport-Bossier Health System.

As part of the annual fundraiser, $1 from every BLIZZARD Treat sold at participating Dairy Queen locations will be donated to CHRISTUS Shreveport-Bossier Health System through Children’s Miracle Network.

Several special events are planned throughout the day, including:

Coushatta Dairy Queen – Blizzard Eating Contest at 12 p.m., featuring local community members who will also be raising donations for children in CHRISTUS’ care.

Mansfield Road Dairy Queen – Blizzard Eating Contest at 4:30 p.m., featuring Children’s Miracle Network Champion Cade Hanna, along with his friends and family.

Community members are encouraged to stop by a participating Dairy Queen, enjoy a BLIZZARD Treat, and support Children’s Miracle Network through Miracle Treat Day. Every qualifying purchase will help benefit children and families receiving care through CHRISTUS Shreveport-Bossier Health System.
