The DeSoto Parish Extension Office-LSU AgCenter and the DeSoto Parish Cattlemen’s Association are offering beef cattle producers from DeSoto, Red River, and Sabine parishes the opportunity to participate in a one-day educational beef tour into East Texas.

The Cattle Producers Beef Tour is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 21, 2026, and will feature visits to several locations focused on beef cattle production and industry education.

Tour stops include:

Texas A&M AgriLife Research Station

B Square Ranch

Livestock Nutrition Center

CB Genetics

The tour will provide participants with the opportunity to visit a research station, seedstock operation, feed mill, and genetic improvement facility.

The registration fee is $40 per person, which includes transportation and a meal.

Space is limited, and advance registration is required. Payment must be received with the registration form to reserve a spot.
