DESOTO PARISH — Hot and mostly sunny weather is expected to continue across DeSoto Parish through the weekend, with only slight chances of afternoon showers and thunderstorms beginning Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
Daytime temperatures are expected to remain in the low to mid-90s, while overnight lows will fall into the mid-70s.
