Brandon McCoy took to social media to announce that McCoy’s Butcher Block is closing. McCoy said, “After a lot of praying, I have made the very tough decision to close McCoys, didn’t think this day would come. I was told in the beginning if we made it past the 3 year hump with a restaurant we would make it, that was way before the drastic change in our economy and the food cost doubling in a year . 7 years later it’s time to move on to something different.. I am so very thankful for all the friends I have made here, all the customers that we have had and the support that helped us make McCoys what it is.”
In Basketball, North DeSoto is hosting Evangel tonight. The girls team plays at 6:00 pm and the boys team plays at 7:30.
