The Logansport Chamber of Commerce had their monthly meeting at the Logansport Library Tuesday evening, August 2nd. Beth Walker made chicken tetrazzini for the chamber members to dine on.
Current chamber business discussed was looking at another building for the chamber office. They are looking to move the office from the building beside the beauty shop to down the street. Additionally, there was discussion concerning the cleaning and repainting of the fish on each side of town.
Future business discussed was the Autumn events for the community. There is a chamber banquet on the horizon that needs to be set on the calendar. These events will be discussed at the next meeting.
Annette Bounds won the door prize. It was a $25 gift card to Whataburger. Pictured with her is Aimee Keaton, a guest at the meeting, wearing her “what-a-dress” made to look like the Whataburger design.
The next meeting will be 6:00pm Tuesday, September 6th at the library. All are encouraged to attend.
