Thelma “Sue” Frances Tullos Booker was born January 9, 1945, in Trinity, Texas to Joseph Henry Tullos and Ella Faye Tullos. She was the youngest of four children. Jesus took her home on September 1, 2022.
Sue married Johnny Ray Booker on January 31, 1970. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her stillborn daughter; her father, Joseph Henry Tullos, mother, Ella Faye Tullos Jenke; sister, Gene Tullos Vines; brother, James Martin Tullos; sister-in-law, Martha Tullos; niece, Tanya Tullos; nephews, David Reynolds, Sandy Booker; and sister-in-law, Mary Canipe.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 52 years, Johnny Ray Booker; daughter, Suella Cooper, son-in-law, Louis Cooper; grandson, John David Cooper, and wife, Amber; granddaughter, Ella Ann Cooper; great-grandson, David Louis Cooper; special brother-in-law, Richard Booker; special sister-in-law and best friend, Jackie Booker; brothers-in-law, Earl Booker and wife Amanda, Roland Booker, JD Booker; sister-in-law, Joanne Prince, Gay Nell May and husband, Frank; sister, Josa Faye Anderson; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Honoring Sue as pallbearers will be John David Cooper, Roland Booker, Melvin Booker, George Booker, Joseph Booker, and Brandon Prince. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Tullos and Bubba Booker.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Mim Springs Baptist Church, Logansport, Louisiana. Rev. Bill Jarrett will be officiating. Interment will be held at Prude Cemetery, Mansfield, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
