The Mansfield Wolverines came out of the locker room with a purpose. Playing the #1 Many Tigers toe to toe through the first two quarters, Mansfield scored twice in the first half on two touchdown passes from Dekeldrick Thomas.  Thomas connected with Nick Davis on a 65 yard pass for the first score. The extra point was unsuccessful.  The second TD pass of the half went to Zach Scott for 38 yards.  Again, the try after was unsuccessful.

The Wolverines came out in the second half and were only able to push it across the goal line one time.  Dekeldrick Thomas hooked up with Nick Bailey for a 70 yard passing touchdown. The try for two failed.  The final score ended up 61 – 18.

The Wolverines return to action this week at home versus Jonesboro-Hodge.
