ETC… For Wednesday, November 2, 2022

North DeSoto High posted on social media, “Due to ongoing concerns for safety and supervision, all NDHS after school events – athletic and extracurricular – will require an adult to be present with any student attending the middle school or below. We appreciate your understanding in helping us keep North DeSoto events safe and enjoyable for everyone.  We will begin implementing this practice at the Northwood football game on November 4th.”

The Logansport Christmas Festival is seeding additional vendors.  Food vendors are full.

They are looking for some unique vendors – iron/metal work, hand-carved items, original art, etc.  The vendor sign up deadline is November 12th.

The DeSoto Schools family is saddened by the loss of one of our own, Mr. Kervin Campbell, a 5th-grade teacher at Mansfield Middle School. Mr. Campbell worked tirelessly for many years in service to the students and families of Mansfield . Our entire community is suffering the loss of our friend and colleague.

As adults, we are well aware of the substantial emotional impact that follows the death of a loved one or friend.  We are working together with our Crisis Response Team to offer support to the students and staff at school. Please feel free to contact us if you need additional assistance. Counselors and other support staff are available at the campus and will continue to be available to students, teachers, and families as needed.
