Head out to a free nutrition and cooking program at the Pelican Branch Library by the LSU Ag Center, October 17, 12 – 1pm. Learn all about the delicious harvest of the month, Winter squash.
The DeSoto Parish Chamber of Commerce meeting will be moved to Wednesday, October 18 and will be held at the new DeSoto Parish School Board office. Regular rsvp email will go out Monday, October 9.
DeSoto Parish Cattlemen’s Association 4th Quarter meeting. Monday, October 16 at 6pm at the DeSoto parish Extension Office, 10117 Hwy 171, Grand Cane. Mr. Bubba Rutherford with Rutherford Land and Cattle will be the guest speaker discussing the outlook on the cattle market for 2024. Please RSVP to jsalley@agcenter.lsu.edu by October 13 for the meal count. This will be the last meeting for this year.
