Graveside service for Kathleen James will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Grand Cane Cemetery, Grand Cane, LA. Officiating the service will be Pastor Mike Scott.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alton James, Sr.; parents; brothers, John Irvine, Jr., and Jimmy Irvine; great-granddaughter Brycee Jo Burkett; great-grandson Shepherd Wade Keen; and son-in-law, Joel Allen.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Alton James, Jr. and wife Suzanne; daughters, Judy Hazelwood and husband David, Kathy Boobar and husband Tim, and Lori Strange; grandchildren Samuel James and wife Jessi, Stacey March and husband David, Carol Sutton and husband Allen, Micah Hazelwood, Daniel Hazelwood, Holly Knight and husband Bradley, Janie Jo Burkett and husband Jacob, Jacob Allen and wife Amber, Caleb Strange, and Mallory Keen and husband Stetson; great-grandchildren, Cooper James, Juliette James, Coen March, Addison March, Marin March, Noah Sutton, Grace Sutton, Timbre Hazelwood, Ava Knight, Greta Knight, Harper Knight, James Knight, Jolie Knight, Blake Burkett, Banner Burkett, Bryon Burkett, Boone Burkett, Harrison Allen, Henry Allen, Alice Allen and Georgia Keen.
