DESOTO PARISH, La. — DeSoto Parish residents can expect a mostly dry and sunny stretch of weather through the weekend, with afternoon temperatures remaining in the lower to mid-90s, according to the National Weather Service.

Wednesday will be sunny with a high near 94 degrees. Northeast winds will range from 5 to 10 mph. Wednesday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 69.

Thursday will remain mostly sunny with a high near 92. Partly cloudy conditions are expected Thursday night as temperatures fall to around 67 degrees.

Similar conditions will continue Friday, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 92. Friday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 68.

Temperatures will climb slightly for the weekend. Saturday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 94, followed by partly cloudy skies Saturday night and a low around 70.

Sunday will bring another mostly sunny day with a high near 94 degrees.

The National Weather Service forecast currently shows no mention of rain from Wednesday through Sunday, providing DeSoto Parish with several consecutive days of warm and generally dry weather.
