The Mansfield Police Department recently recognized Detective Brittney Byrd for successfully completing a five-day Homicide and Death Investigation course in LaPlace, Louisiana.

Following completion of the specialized training, Byrd received certification through the State of Louisiana as a homicide detective.

The course provided additional training in homicide and death investigations, further strengthening Byrd’s investigative knowledge and professional qualifications.

The Mansfield Police Department congratulated Byrd on her accomplishment and expressed appreciation for her commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Department officials emphasized that ongoing training helps officers and investigators enhance their skills and better serve the community.

Byrd’s certification represents another step in the department’s efforts to maintain trained investigative personnel and provide professional law enforcement services to the citizens of Mansfield.
